On a recent trip to Texas, I used Texas Motorcycle Adventures, and from the very start, it was an easy and pleasant experience. Being a family run business, you get personal service and great advice on which motorcycle will suit you best. I was able to collect the motorcycle and leave my car in a secure place. I was supplied a helmet, and after I signed some forms, was away very quickly. The motorcycle was well maintained and clean, complete with luggage. New Braunfels is a centrally located city, with access to some of Texas’ best roads around the Hill Country. Complimentary maps and great routes were provided. I have rented motorcycles in many places in the US, and no one has beaten the quality of service and value I received from Texas Motorcycle Adventures. I will use them again when I visit Texas.

Both cycles were in good shape and behaved well. The BMW was quite an interesting ride (I still don’t know how I turned on the hand warmers). Power brakes…sheesh! Took a little getting used to, but it was well suited for carrying a passenger. I would be interested in a more off-roadish experience to see how it behaves in more natural conditions. While in San Antonio for the Thanksgiving holiday with my family, I found myself wanting to explore the beautiful Hill Country. As usual for me, that means on two wheels. After finding Texas Motorcycle Adventures, I was pleased to have a pristine BMW R1200GS delivered to my door. WOW! It just doesn’t get any better! Perfect, perfect, perfect! It was a pleasure doing business with Texas Motorcycle Adventures. James was very accommodating on pickup and return of the bike. I rented a BMW R1200GS, which had every feature imaginable, including heated handgrips and PIAA lights for better nighttime visibility. The bike was in perfect condition and performed perfectly the entire trip. James also provided excellent quality riding accessories (riding jacket with pads, full-face helmet with smoked visor, riding gloves, touring maps, a GPS system, and all the hard-shell bags the bike would hold). I will definitely rent from Texas Motorcycle Adventures the next time I’m in town!

This was my first fly / ride vacation, and I couldn’t have made a better choice of motorcycle rental companies to deal with. James met us at the Austin airport and arranged for us to change into our riding clothes at a nearby Marriott while he unloaded our Suzuki VStrom from his trailer. He provided us with a map of good routes through the Texas hill country and suggestions of great places to eat along the way. The motorcycle was in perfect condition and made the ride very enjoyable. At the end of the trip, he picked up the bike at the airport hotel and we were on our way back home. I highly recommend renting a motorcycle from Texas Motorcycle Adventures.
